Course Project Task II
Networking
In this module, prepare for the interview to be conducted in Module 3. Network with your colleagues, teachers, mentors, and peers to locate a sport psychologist, athletic trainer, coach, physical therapist, teacher, health care provider, or counselor who is already working with children of the age group in which you are interested. Do not choose someone with whom you already work. You will interview the professional and report on the information that reflects the theories discussed in this course as well as the unique perspective and insight gained from the professional’s practical knowledge. Submit the interview questionnaire that includes the following:
- Title
- Role
- Age group served
Add more details to your questionnaire so the interview is structured to help you gain the most from the experience of the professional. At a minimum, you should state the interviewee’s title, role, duties, and age group served. However, provide any personal information of the interviewee, such as name, only if the person is comfortable disclosing it. Otherwise please avoid providing such information in your paper.
Also describe the following in your paper:
- Why you are drawn to your chosen age group?
- In what capacity you think you may want to serve the chosen age group?
Write a one- to two-page paper and present it in Microsoft Word document format. Name your file M2_A2_LastName_CP_II.doc, and submit it to the Submissions Area by the due date assigned.
All written assignments and responses should follow APA rules for attributing sources.
